Ask a series of three questions and pull three Shuffled Rows. Pulling from the deck shuffled together adds more variety, creativity, and complexity to the interpretation.
How To Play
Play this formation alone or with a group.
Combine and shuffle the entire deck, so all categories are mixed together.
Ask a question. This formation can be paired with any question. For question ideas, visit Questions.
Pull three cards randomly from the deck shuffled together, forming a Shuffled Row.
Flip the cards over.
Interpret. If playing in a group, the person who asked the question typically speaks first. While The DOC is more about improvising and honoring your genuine reaction to the cards, you can read about each card more in depth via Cards. If playing in a group, you can either pass the deck between players after each row, or allow one player to complete the whole grid first before passing the deck.
Repeat Steps 3-6 for two more questions, forming a 3x3 card grid.
If playing in a group setting, pass the deck to the next player.
