The Inferno card is an intense cleanse. It is not a subtle card. It carries big and often unforgiving energy. Inferno stands for creation via destruction; sometimes we have to watch everything go up in flames in order to transform and build back better. Chaos is often needed for new growth to come back fresh and rejuvenated. Embrace the evolution, personal and/or collective, at hand.

Inferno is also a fire card. Fire stands for passion, action, and transformation. Immense change is afoot.

In some instances, Inferno can represent collective anger. It is the fuel for a revolution. It is the forest fire that changes landscapes.

Growth is probably needed at this time, and things likely cannot continue as they are. It is time to cross the point of no return. Face your fear, and let go of the past.
